Rita Singh
Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)
Rita is a compassionate and empathetic psychologist who values the importance of creating a safe space for individuals to explore concerns and work collaboratively towards their desired goals.
She has experience working across various settings, with individuals of all ages, including children and young people who have experienced trauma and emotional regulation difficulties. Rita can provide support for a range of mental health presentations, including but not limited to, anxiety, depression, life stressors, and adjustment difficulties. She also has an interest in facilitating therapeutic group programs for a range of challenges, including anxiety management, and sleep difficulties. In addition, Rita can conduct psychometric assessments such as the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC).
Her therapeutic work is drawn from various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, attachment-focused approaches, Circle of Security and more.
When not working, Rita enjoys spending time in nature, or reading a good book with a cup of tea.
