Making an appointment
Anyone can make an appointment to see a Psychologist without a referral. However, if you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you will be entitled to a rebate from Medicare. Your private health fund may also offer a rebate.
To make an appointment please call our admin team during business hours 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
They will need some basic information from you including
- name of person, age and contact details of the patient
- if you have a mental health care plan from your GP
- a brief description of the problem
From this information you will then be placed on a waitlist and our admin team will let you know the approximate wait time. When on the waitlist list you can call and check to see the approximate wait time.
FAQ's
Supported Minds can offer face to face and telehealth appointments. Most appointments are conducted face to face and telehealth can be used as required.
We do not currently offer Workcover appointments.
Patients with a current Mental Health Care Plan will be able to access a Medicare of $131.55 for an appointment with a Clinical Psychologist, the current gap payment is $117.95
Yes, you can claim a rebate from your Private Health Fund at Supported Minds.
